I told myself that I would stay away from this Boston Anti "Free Speech" Protest after the events that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia. I got a call and a few messages asking me if I am going and if I would take my camera with me but I still either said "no" or I was "undecided." I woke up that next morning, late mind you, and knew I had a responsibility as a black man in this country to do my part.
As a photographer I could not sit by and do nothing. I needed to capture history on this day, Aug 19, 2017, and share it with the world. Overall I am glad I went and documented this historic day but I would like people to continue to come out in support of black lives matter and other organizations. Click here to see more pics
